The Atonement

Hey ladies! It's Jen! I have missed seeing y'all these past couple of weeks and hope that all of y'all are doing great! This month the lessons are focused around the Atonement.  I heard Kate gave an amazing lesson on what the atonement is and how it has 3 parts.
*The suffering in the Garden of Gesthemane where Christ suffered for our sins, and felt every pain and sickness, every malady we experience here
*The crucifixion where Christ gave up his life even though he had the power to prevent it
*And finally the Resurrection which is what we have to look forward to.

As we go through this month that we will be celebrating Easter I hope that we will all try to focus a little more on why we have Easter and the amazing sacrifice that Christ bore for us. He knows every pain, every sadness, every doubt and every hardship we have and will ever go through.  There is nothing that you can not go to Him about that He won't understand.  He atoned for us, so that we can be happy and let him take the pain from us.  He is waiting for us to cast our burdens on him.

I love this video and hope this can help everyone to focus on what is important and remember that God is watching over each of us and there is no trial too small for him to help you through. Go to Him for help and let him guide you in your life.

Remember the challenge that Kate gave this week. Think of a specific trial in your life, and find out (through reading scriptures, praying, studying) how the atonement can help you with that trial.
